Advertising has been with us for quite some time…from the earliest products selling cocaine-based medicine or better yet, the intestinal worms to help you lose weight to the latest Volkswagen ad. So today I gathered some interesting advertising concepts from companies or organizations around the world. Would be fun to see how a concept such as this develops…from the drawing board to the finished product.

Do… You seriously think those were the EARLIEST ads? Like…dude, did A LOT of research before writing about THAT topic, huh? This is why journalism is dying. Because of people like you that get paid by number of HITS instead of quality content… Gods thats sad.

The author did not say that these ads were the earliest. The author discussed the earliest ads, and said that these were some that the author has collected. What’s sad, is actually that you read quickly and commented before re-reading to make sure you are correct.

Yeah, the author didn’t actually say these were “earliest ads” at all…. the author said “from the earliest products selling cocaine-based medicine or better yet, the intestinal worms to help you lose weight to the latest Volkswagen ad.”
Sweetie, I don’t know if you noticed, but none of these are “early ads” at all……these were (for the most part) very clearly created using a program like Photoshop or something similar to it, or using a very high quality camera…….I promise they didn’t have that for advertising back in the day, they had hand drawn advertisements…….. teehee i love seeing people try to say things like this, but just make themselves look really silly because they obviously didn’t read before commenting <3

I spent a number of years in commercial photography, and I’ve seen a multitude of great ads, but these are really good. I especially liked the first one. “Come in and take it off … fast”.
